Awareness and Recognition
Eurofarma develops several recognition actions with its employees and also to raise awareness for the importance of sustainable attitudes.
Programa Raízes (Roots Program)
A simple, but representative manner, of showing off the company’s values, of recognition for the individual contribution of employees. Upon completing 15 years of dedication, the employee is invited to plant a native tree from the Atlantic Forest in the conservation area of the industrial complex in Itapevi. Next to the seedling, a sign with the name of the honoree professional, admission date, indication of the planted species and planting date is placed. Since the establishment of the initiative, more than 400 employees have received the tribute.
Campanha Atitude (Attitude Campaign)
A theme is defined, as the responsible use of natural resources and conscious use of drugs, and shows through an information campaign with concrete examples and data on how good practices can be incorporated into everyday life. The themes always bring examples of attitudes and behaviors expected from the employees in the exercise of their professional activities, and that can also be replicated in personal life.
Environmental recovery actions
Eurofarma has planted on the outskirts of the industrial complex of Itapevi 2,745 native trees from the Atlantic Forest. In 2015, it initiated an environmental recovery work in an area near the Taiaçupeba dam, in Mogi das Cruzes, as part of a Commitment Agreement for the Environmental Recovery (TCRA) signed by the company with Cetesb. This term provides for the planting of 48,026 native trees from the Atlantic Forest, in an area of permanent preservation. More than 25 thousand seedlings have been planted to date.
