Eurofarma believes in the broad development and always seeks economic, social and environmental balance. Water reuse, renewable energy, recycling, citizenship and education are some of the company's commitments.
Eurofarma is a reference in the sector and has a market recognition for the commitment in the corporate routine for the adoption of business practices based on ethical and responsible values, in social and environmental areas. The company is the only pharmaceutical business twice champion by the Exame Sustainability Guide (2014-2015), having also won the 1st place in Social Responsibility and Innovation Capacity by the Época Negócios Magazine (Época Award 360° – 2015).
In 2015, the company formalized its adherence to the UN Global Compact (www.pactoglobal.org.br), a natural consequence of the company’s actions taken over the past decade since the creation of its first Master Plan for Sustainability.
The journey in search of best practices has caused Eurofarma to often anticipate to the legislations, and to also always have worked ahead of the targets set for the sector (“Commitment and demands for building the future we want”, a document organized by the Ethos Institute during the accomplishment of the Rio + 20).
Every year, Eurofarma features and updates its initiatives to improve efficiency and minimize its interference in the environment. It also shows its commitment to contribute to building a more equitable society with less inequality and more opportunities.
