With over 77,000 direct services performed, the Institute is sure of one thing: education transforms lives. For over a decade, we have all taught and we have all learned. Together we join forces, empowering children, adolescents, adults and the elderly, providing opportunities for the future and making dreams come true.

Headquartered in the Interlagos district in the south of São Paulo, the Eurofarma Institute was created in 2006 to improve management of the company’s social investments, which decided to create and conduct its own educational programs in three areas: Complementary Education, Training for Young People, Adults and the Elderly, and Environmental Education.

To that end, we will continue to put people at the center of opportunities to and always, which is also why we continue to invest in a transformative education. In 2018, the Eurofarma Institute received more than BRL 12.7 million and assisted over 1,900 children, young people and adults in regular courses. On average, there were more than 10,000 annual services in the last five years, with about 14,000 direct calls in the previous year. In 2018 alone, 123 schools were involved in the Institute’s programs, with 248 trained teachers. Program highlights include “De Olho no Enem” [Looking to the National High School Exam”], a preparatory course with methodology developed by the Institute itself, focusing on the subjects of Portuguese and math for high school students from public schools. In recent years, the percentage of students who were accepted to a university was around 65%, including some of the country’s main institutions, such as Universidade de São Paulo (USP).

In 2018, the Institute included two vocational courses for adults in its course lineup, aimed at generating family income and promoting social inclusion. The new courses – Senior Caregiver and Electrician Assistant – are offered to adults between 18 and 45 years of age, in addition to an Entrepreneurship course taught to participants by Sebrae. For people over the age of 60, a Recycling Workshop was developed to promote social relations through workshops that turn waste PET bottles into useful items, such as bags and decorative items.

Questions on the Institute’s courses and registration? Here are some answers

No, the applicant can only enroll in one course per semester; the site blocks the CPF automatically. That is why it is very important that you read about all the courses and only register when you are sure.

No, you cannot make this change on the site. When they contact you, tell them you are no longer interested and/or state your interest in taking another course (this option is not guaranteed, since the priority is to call the person to the course for which he/she registered).

Registration is open every year during the period from April 15 to June 15 (first semester) and from October 15 to December 15 (second semester). If registration for a specific course is not available during these periods, that means there are no seats available for that course at the moment, and the student should try to register again the following semester.

Register on the site and fill in the field that asks whether you have been indicated by an employee (click). Remember to inform the data of the person who indicated you (name/area, etc.).

In this case, you will have to contact Elis by phone at 5546-1335 with all your data in hand (name, contacts, course you registered for).

If you interrupted the course and the cause is not proven by doctor’s certificates, you will have to wait two years to try again.

No, you only need to pay for transportation to/from the school/residence.

No, since the courses are short, SP Trans does not authorize it.

Depending on the course, if you passed and attained the minimum attendance (75%) in one of the professional courses, you will be certified by the educational institution that taught the course (SENAC or SENAI). The English course does not have a certificate as in any private school, but if necessary, you can receive a statement proving that you have attended the module by the British Centre. The ENEM course does not have a certificate because it is a preparatory course.

If you completed the course and passed, you can take another course, but you need to register again on the site and participate in another selection process.
